Who We Are
NetVantage IT Solutions Ltd ("NetVantage", "we", "us") is a UK-registered IT outsourcing and systems infrastructure company based at 45 Kingsland Road, London, E2 8AA. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and, where we manage your IT systems, a data processor acting under your documented instructions.
What Data We Collect
Through this website we collect the details you submit in our contact and IT audit request forms: your name, company name, work email address, phone number, company size, approximate counts of servers and workstations, your preferred contact method, and any message you choose to send. We also collect basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and analytics purposes.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to respond to your enquiry, arrange and deliver a free IT audit, prepare service proposals, and — where you become a client — deliver managed IT services under contract. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Lawful Basis
Enquiry and audit data is processed on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Client data is processed as necessary for the performance of our contract. Security and analytics data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
Data Sharing
We share data only with vetted subprocessors strictly necessary to deliver services (for example, UK-based cloud and backup providers), and only under written data-processing agreements. All subprocessors are listed in your service documentation. Where law enforcement or a regulator makes a valid legal request, we disclose only what is legally required and notify you where permitted.
Data Retention
Enquiry data for non-clients is retained for 24 months from last contact. Client data is retained for the contract term plus six years to meet UK statutory and tax obligations. Monitoring logs are retained for 90 days unless a longer period is required for an active investigation.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email hello@netvantage.co.uk. We respond within one calendar month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
Personal data is stored in UK data centres, encrypted at rest and in transit, and accessed only by staff who need it, on a least-privilege basis. Our practices are aligned to ISO 27001 controls and independently audited.
Cookies
This website uses only essential cookies required for its operation and (if enabled) reCAPTCHA for form abuse prevention. We do not deploy advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
